With more than two decades of executive search experience, Mr. Marion has participated in over 500 senior-level assignments and has extensive experience in the automotive industry, including original equipment manufacturers, suppliers and related aftermarkets.

Mr. Marion has personally conducted assignments for board directors, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, division presidents, and functional heads of operations, sales, marketing, human resources, engineering and supply chain management over a broad spectrum of companies in the automotive and transportation sectors.

Mr. Marion has also executed numerous searches for distribution companies, contract manufacturers and service providers that support the transportation sector, and has completed engagements for clients in capital goods, controls and automation, aerospace, railroad and general industrial products.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 2001, Mr. Marion was a partner with a major international executive search firm. His background also includes seven years with a regional search firm, and eight years of line management experience in manufacturing engineering, operations and sales/ marketing with Colt Industries, a multi-national industrial manufacturer in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Mr. Marion holds a master’s of business administration in marketing from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.  He also has a bachelor’s of environmental science degree from Cornell University.
