Ms. Simard brings a wealth of in-depth knowledge of different industries related to information technology, telecommunications, financial services and consulting services to Korn/Ferry. Her primary focus is on building close business relationships with clients. Ms. Simard has great interest in leadership, talent, governance and diversity.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Simard served as partner with another executive search firm in Montreal, working closely with key private and public sector executives to implement business strategies in the following areas: executive recruitment, strategic development and planning, change management, process engineering, customer relationship management, succession plans.

Earlier, she was the senior executive director of relationship management with RBC DEXIA Investors Services, a global investor services solutions company. There, she was responsible for Canadian companies with global operations and pension funds. Previously, she was the practice leader for customer relationship management and customer service with IBM.

Ms. Simard is the vice president and board member of the executive committee of the YWCA of Greater Montreal; she is also a member of the Women in Finance Association and the International Women’s Forum.

Ms. Simard is often invited as a guest speaker on diversity and talent management issues.

She earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from McGill University.

Ms. Simard is fluent in English and French.
