Mr. Kleinen’s primary clients include global brands as well as start up and fast-growth businesses across a diverse range of consumer/retail companies seeking to develop world-class leadership teams and boards. His consumer clients include food and beverages, retail, personal care, beauty and cosmetics, OTC, fashion, sports, luxury goods and consumer durables companies.

Mr. Kleinen has more than 10 years of experience in the recruitment of executives within a variety of functional areas, including general management, marketing, sales, operations/supply chain, human resources, and finance.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 2000, Mr. Kleinen was a senior buyer with Tengelmann/A&P Group. Previously, he worked in sales and marketing with Kraft, Germany. He started his professional career with Empirica in Bonn as a consultant.

Mr. Kleinen holds a master’s of business administration from the University of Cologne, Germany and is fluent in German and English
