As a founding member and leader of the Technology, Operations and Corporate Officers Sector over a decade ago, Mr. Stephenson oversees the delivery of search activities for functional areas including technology, operations, finance, risk, human resources, compliance and legal. He is recognized for his commitment to quality and focus on customer service. Mr. Stephenson has conducted numerous executive search engagements throughout North America, Europe and Asia focusing on senior-level technology and operations functions.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1994, Mr. Stephenson was with a small boutique search firm that specialized in technology.

While the majority of Mr. Stephenson’s executive search experience is directly focused in technology and operations, he has also led engagements related to several industries as well as the critical regulatory and compliance functions. Mr. Stephenson has worked with a diverse selection of companies, from small regional banks to Fortune 500 diversified financial service companies to identify, evaluate and attract excellent talent.

Mr. Stephenson has been a featured speaker at the Financial Technology Forum, hosted by Institutional Investor, covering topics including human capital, employee retention and trends in IT/Operations within financial services and he is often quoted in Waters Magazine. He also presents the annual the CIO of the Year Award at the American Financial Technology Award.

Mr. Stephenson is a graduate of Lynchburg College in Virginia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business management.
