Mr. Demeter is responsible for developing the firm’s technology vision and implementing it worldwide, as well as leading the firm into the top position in the industry in information systems.

Korn/Ferry was named the winner of CIO Magazine 2004 Enterprise Value Award and Mr. Demeter has been named a 2005 Premier 100 IT Leader by IDG’s Computerworld Magazine.

Before joining Korn/Ferry in 1996, Mr. Demeter was the Managing Director of Technology Architecture, Planning & Design, with Citibank, where he developed the technology vision and strategy for the bank’s global consumer business.

During his tenure with Citibank, he created the North America Consumer Bank’s first national branch system and an advanced technology based customer service system.  Mr. Demeter also served as an officer in the Israel Defense Force.

Mr. Demeter earned his master’s of business administration degree in management and international business from the Graduate School of Business Administration, New York University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Queens College, City University of New York.
