Mr. Bongiorno has successfully recruited senior level human resource executives within all industries. In addition, he has conducted a variety of searches and management assessments for clients in the banking, technology, private equity and real estate industries.
For 25 years prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Bongiorno held a variety of senior level human resource roles. Most recently, he was SVP and head of human resources for Bank of America’s Global Corporate & Investment Bank (GCIB), and head of human resources for the bank’s international activities throughout Europe, Asia, Japan and Latin America. In this dual role, he led global teams of recruiting, training, compensation, HRIS, diversity, leadership/organizational development and HR generalist professionals in support of a variety of the bank’s global businesses. Mr. Bongiorno’s prior roles at Bank of America included head of human resources for Fixed Income and head of GCIB Recruiting.
Previously, Mr. Bongiorno was with Kidder, Peabody & Company, a GE Capital investment banking subsidiary, in a variety of senior-level human resource generalist and recruiting roles. Earlier in his career, he held positions with a New York-based executive search firm and Citibank.
Mr. Bongiorno holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Southern College.
