Mr. Gerson has completed numerous senior management and physician executive search assignments for community teaching hospitals, long-term care organizations, health systems and integrated delivery networks.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Gerson was a compensation specialist in the compensation consulting practice of Aon Consulting, where he provided clients with employee and executive compensation solutions specifically for the healthcare industry. Mr. Gerson focused on compensation philosophy development as well as executive salary structure design.

Mr. Gerson also served as a healthcare consultant in the strategic consulting division of Longshore + Simmons. In this role, he participated in multiple client engagements including hospital medical staff planning, executive/physician compensation studies and the development of hospital-physician joint venture ambulatory surgery centers. Mr. Gerson started his career in the healthcare industry as an administrative resident at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.

Mr. Gerson holds a master’s degree in business administration in healthcare administration from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
