There is no higher priority.” Unique in the search industry, Mr. Johnson has specialized in human resources for almost two decades and works exclusively on providing HR solutions for a wide range of global companies. Having previously worked at Korn/Ferry, Mr. Johnson re-joined the Firm from another leading executive search firm where he was chairman of the global human resources practice. Prior to his current position, he served as leading member in Korn/Ferry’s Human Resources Center of Expertise as Senior Client Partner. Before entering executive search, Mr. Johnson held several policy-level corporate HR positions and became a well known HR practitioner. Mr. Johnson spent 20 years holding the top HR position for three major corporations: Cigna (formerly INA), Federated Department Stores and the Travelers Companies, where he was also responsible for corporate administration. Mr. Johnson has also held leadership positions with the employee relations committee of The Business Roundtable, Association of Executive Search Consultants, The HR Policy Association, The Conference Board, The HR Roundtable and the Human Resources Planning Society, among others. He also served on the committee at McKinsey & Company that produced the widely recognized “The War for Talent” report. Mr. Johnson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska. |
