Mr. Unterköfler joined the consulting business in 1986 and has worked for various industry segments, particularly for the financial service sector, the real estate industry, professional services’ companies, state- owned companies and the public sector.
Besides his extensive experience in executive search, he has conducted numerous national and international Human-Resources-Due Diligences and Management Assessments. For more than a decade prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 2003, Mr. Unterköfler was a managing partner in a European search and consulting group, based in Vienna and Munich.
In this role, he set up complimentary consulting services to executive search and developed competencies in the field of strategic development of management resources, interim management, management assessment and compensation consulting.
Mr. Unterköfler conducted various strategic assessments and was also involved as consultant and expert in privatisation projects.
Before joining the consulting industry, Mr. Unterköfler worked in the legal department of a construction building firm and real estate developer and was also an assistant lecturer at the University of Vienna for Public Law.
Mr. Unterköfler frequently gives presentations and speeches and has also been published on specific management issues.
He earned a law degree at the University of Vienna.
