Before joining the Firm in 1975 as Partner and Vice President in Mexico, Mr. McCoy was marketing director, operations director and a member of the executive committee for the SUMESA self-service food chain in Mexico. He earlier served as a consultant with the McKinsey & Company consulting firm. Prior to that, for a four-year period, Mr. McCoy worked for Bristol-Myers de México, first in the position of marketing director and later as assistant general director of the company. Previously, he held the position of national sales manager for Del Monte Foods – Mexico, where he was subsequently named advertising manager for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean with Del Monte Foods International. Earlier, Mr. McCoy was an account executive and marketing director with the McCann-Erickson advertising agency. He began his career in the marketing field with the Procter & Gamble Company's subsidiary in Mexico. Mr. McCoy is featured in the book, The Career Makers, which names America’s top 150 executive recruiters. Early in 2008, he was distinguished by the prestigious BusinessWeek magazine as one of "The 50 Most Influential Headhunters in the World.” Mr. McCoy earned his undergraduate degree with honors in business administration from the University of Southern California, where he currently serves on the advisory board of the Marshall School of Business. |
