With almost two decades of executive recruitment experience, Mr. Aslaksen has led more than 400 search assignments at the C-suite, board and division level, with specific expertise working with global organizations in the chemical, packaging and plastics industries. He has led searches on behalf of clients across a broad spectrum of financial structures—from publicly-held Fortune 500  companies to venture capital-backed start-ups.

Mr. Aslaksen also leads the Firm’s work in developing markets in nanotechnology and distributed energy.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Aslaksen was a consultant in the San Francisco office of another global executive search firm. In addition to executive recruitment, he has provided clients with services ranging from organizational design to management assessment.

His earlier career included engineering, sales and management positions with American Cyanamid (now Cytec),  Dexter Corporation (now Valspar) and AGA AB (now Linde Gas).

Mr. Aslaksen earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana.
