Jamey Cummings is a Principal in the Dallas office of Korn/Ferry International, where he is a member of the Firm’s Global Industrial Market, specializing in the Aerospace, Aviation & Defense Sector. He is also a member of the Supply Chain Management Center of Expertise.

Prior to Korn/Ferry, Mr. Cummings served as an associate principal in the industrial, supply chain, and transportation & logistics practices of another leading executive search firm, where he also served clients in the consumer & retail, technology, government & defense, biotechnology, and education sectors. In addition to his work spanning multiple supply chain functions, he has breadth of experience conducting executive search and leadership assessment assignments in the areas of general management, finance, sales & business development, project & construction management, engineering, legal, and professional services.

Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Cummings was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Dallas, where he worked on a wide variety of projects with clients in the consumer finance, telecommunications, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and education industries. His projects were primarily focused on business process improvement, sales strategy development, supply chain strategy, and organizational design optimization. Previously, Mr. Cummings was a project lead intern with Target Corporation’s distribution strategy team.

Earlier in his career, he served nine years with distinction as an officer in the U.S. Navy's SEAL teams, where he served in roles ranging from current operations officer to assistant platoon commander, and led teams on deployments throughout Europe and South America.

Mr. Cummings serves as chairman of the North Texas Board of the Positive Coaching Alliance, a national non-profit organization that since its founding in 1998, has partnered with youth sports organizations across the country to help create a positive, character-building youth sports environment for more than 3 million youth athletes. 

He earned a master’s degree is business administration from Stanford University, and graduated with merit with a bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering from The United States Naval Academy.
