Mr. Paxton brings more than two decades of national and international healthcare recruitment experience to Korn/Ferry. His management background and skills in the areas of human resources, executive development, employee relations and organizational design contribute value-added experience, understanding and critical insights to the search process.

During his search career, Mr. Paxton has represented a wide range of for-profit and nonprofit healthcare companies, including acute and post-acute care corporations, managed care organizations, assisted living companies, academic medical centers, physicians practice groups, professional healthcare associations, healthcare companies, integrated delivery networks and large retirement systems.

Mr. Paxton has conducted numerous senior- and executive-level search assignments, including key operation, clinical, quality improvement, physician services, marketing and leadership positions for medical foundations.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1998, Mr. Paxton served as director of healthcare for another international search firm. Earlier, he was head of human resources for a large healthcare company with national and international operations.

Mr. Paxton has served on the boards of directors of various community services, arts organizations and financial institutions.

He earned a master’s degree in education from Old Dominion University and a bachelor’s degree in English from the College of William and Mary.
