Ms. Mannion brings more than 25 years of experience to the Firm working in the cultural, cause-related, philanthropic and foundation arenas. Her career has included executive leadership roles across public and private interests.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Mannion founded Aura Associates, advising corporations and nonprofit organizations on positioning and marketing strategies. Earlier, she worked for PaineWebber, where over 10 years she built the company’s government relations and public affairs department. As corporate vice president, she managed public policy, legislative issues, corporate giving as well as their political action committee and foundation activities.
Prior to her work at PaineWebber, Ms. Mannion served as director of Governor Cuomo's New York City office. Before then, as appointment's officer, she placed cabinet level commissioners, secretaries, directors and managers across agencies, departments, and boards in New York State.
Ms. Mannion began her career as a marketing professional working for Aetna Life and Casualty Company in California. Relocating to New York City, she joined MMSI, a leading mass marketing company.
Ms. Mannion has served on numerous boards and advisory committees, including the Child Care Action Campaign, New York State mentoring Program, New York City Community Board 7, Columbia University’s SIPA and The National Child Research Center. She served as treasurer to the American Council of Young Political Leaders and was elected secretary general of the Atlantic Association of Young Political Leaders. She is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and serves as a board trustee of the University of the District of Columbia, a fully-accredited sole public source for accessible, inclusive, affordable and comprehensive public higher education. Ms. Mannion has also served as an advisor to political campaigns for numerous federal, state and local candidates.
Ms. Mannion received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English literature from Alfred University.
