Mr. Muñoz brings more than a decade of international search experience to the Firm. An expert in both the technology and financial services marketplaces, he has conducted numerous CEO, CFO, CMO and CIO assignments throughout the U.S. and Latin America, both at the regional management level and country-specific positions for Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, he served as managing partner for the Miami, Mexico City and Santiago offices of another international executive search firm. He also was the regional Latin American coordinator for the firm’s technology practice.

Prior to entering the search field, Mr. Muñoz was CEO of a wireless service operator that provided cellular and paging services in Chile.

Earlier, he was with Xerox de Chile, where he held various management positions including marketing and sales director, with full responsibility for all business development and commercial activities.

Mr. Muñoz is chairman of the advisory board of Business News Americas, a Latin America-focused business information company. He is a past board member of Florida FTAA, Inc., former president of ACHITEL (Chilean Wireless Industry Association) and former secretary general of Alacel (Latin American Wireless Association).

Mr. Muñoz studied electronic engineering, specializing in automatic control systems and computers, at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María in Chile.
