With more than three decades in healthcare, Mr. Collins’ experience with corporate development and management – combined with extensive industry leadership activities – affords him a unique combination of practical knowledge and a nationwide network of contacts.

He is focused on managing senior-level executive search assignments for healthcare services providers, managed care organizations, and other healthcare enterprises.

In 2006, Mr. Collins was awarded the Korn/Ferry International Global Client Satisfaction Award for achieving the highest overall rating by clients of all of the Firm’s partners worldwide.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1997, Mr. Collins was the founder and CEO of various health care technology companies and other industry service organizations. These included a physician practice management software company and a national medical informatics company.

Mr. Collins also served as CEO of the Hospital Council of Northern California, a trade association of 250 acute care hospitals. He began his career as a member of the management team at San Jose Hospital in San Jose, California.

Mr. Collins received master’s and bachelor’s degrees in hospital and healthcare administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He also completed the Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
