Mr. Bekins has played a leading role in Korn/Ferry’s international expansion. He served in a number of Asia Pacific roles in the 1990s, including the opening of the Korea office and serving as President, Asia Pacific in the late 1990s. Additionally, he served as President, Europe and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Bekins left the Firm in December 2001 to pursue entrepreneurial interests and serve on several non-profit boards. He rejoined Korn/Ferry in 2006, moving to Hong Kong, to lead the Asia Pacific Technology practice and the Hong Kong office.

Mr. Bekins has contributed to white papers on talent strategy in Asia for the Korn/Ferry Institute and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and The Conference Board Review. He was listed as one of the world’s top 200 executive recruiters in The Global 200 Recruiters: An Essential Guide to the Best Recruiters in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, by Nancy Garrison Jenn (Jossey Bass Management Series).

Now living in Singapore, Mr. Bekins has lived and worked in the U.S., Japan, Australia, Malaysia, London and Hong Kong.

He earned his master’s of business administration degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor of science degree from Pepperdine University.
