With more than two decades of industry experience, Mr. Ropstad works as a generalist recruiting executives across several market sectors. He is also a specialist in assessment of teams and individuals, and he has been involved in numerous cross-border assignments.

Mr. Ropstad joined Korn/Ferry following the acquisition in January 2000 of PA Consulting Group’s recruitment business, where he had worked since 1997 as an executive search consultant.

Prior to his career in executive recruitment, Mr. Ropstad spent 20 years in the industry, working mostly with technology companies He has held positions as managing director of four medium-sized companies in marine and offshore products and systems, as well as in wireless communications.

Mr. Ropstad has extensive international experience and has managed restructuring and ownership changes for several companies.

Mr. Ropstad has a master’s degree in technical cybernetics from the Technical University of Trondheim, Norway.
