Mr. de Almeida has over a decade’s worth of experience in executive recruitment, specializing in senior assignments within the industrial sector, professional services, technology, real estate, and entertainment and hospitality fields.

He joined Korn/Ferry from another international search firm. As member of the firm’s Lisbon office managers team, Mr. de Almeida assumed a leading role in business development as well as project execution in cross-border executive search assignments, especially for the Iberian Region. He also participated in several consulting projects, helping to develop the leadership services practice of the firm both in Portugal and worldwide.

Mr. de Almeida began his career with an English multinational search firm, where between 1996 and 2000, he held an active role in establishing the company in Portugal and positioning it as one of the leading search firms in the Iberian region. He was responsible for developing the IT & telecom industry business, as well as the professional services practice of the firm.

Mr. de Almeida holds a post-graduate degree in business management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and an academic degree in international affairs/political science from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa.

Mr. de Almeida is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and French.
