Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1981, Mr. Dunn served for six years with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, including two years as executive assistant city attorney, the highest non-elected position in the office. Prior to that, he served for four years as director of the planning and research division of the Los Angeles Municipal Courts. These agencies are respectively the second largest judicial and prosecutorial offices in North America. Mr. Dunn also served for three years as a trial attorney with the Los Angeles county public defender. He is admitted to the State Bar of California.

He received a juris doctorate from the University of California and a bachelor’s degree in government with honors from Dartmouth College.
