As COO, Mr. Kaplan oversees the execution of Korn/Ferry Leadership and Talent Consulting’s global strategy. He is also a leader in the Firm’s evolution as a provider of a broad spectrum of leadership and talent solutions.  Additionally, Mr. Kaplan sits on the Firm’s Partner Promotions Committee and Global Partner Council.

As a member of Korn/Ferry’s Education practice, Mr. Kaplan works with business schools around the globe to define and implement leadership development strategies and programs.

Mr. Kaplan also services C-level clients across industries, helping organizations most effectively implement business strategy through people.  

Mr. Kaplan joined the Firm with over a decade of professional consulting experience from Accenture, where he was the global director of research and development and capability development for that firm’s Strategy Consulting practice. He also served Fortune 500 clients as a strategy and management consultant, focusing on competitive market assessment, organization strategy, and new market entry.

Prior to Accenture, Mr. Kaplan served as general manager for multi-media communications start-up, where he was responsible for the overall operation and growth of the firm. His clients included Intel, IBM, Adobe, and Nestle.

Earlier, Mr. Kaplan lived and worked in Japan. He began his career as a member of the Accelerated Management Program at Pacific Bell, formally part of AT&T.

Mr. Kaplan earned a master of business administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley Hass School of Business. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.
