Mr. Giella has conducted over 400 senior-level assignments in the life sciences industry working with for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare companies in the areas of integrated delivery systems, insurance/managed care companies, academic health centers, community and rural hospitals, PBMs, health associations and other services delivery healthcare companies.

Prior to joining the Firm in 1990, Mr. Giella worked in the general practice in the Chicago office of another international executive search firm.

Before his executive search career, Mr. Giella worked as a corporate bond analyst in New York for Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to this, he taught mathematics and history at Avon Old Farm School in Avon, Connecticut.

Mr. Giella is also a member of Korn/Ferry’s Matrix Manager’s Committee, which governs and directs the strategy and operations for Korn/Ferry’s North American offices. In addition, Mr. Giella is also actively involved in the Center for Healthcare Governance, the Scottsdale Institute, and the National Center for Healthcare Leadership.

Mr. Giella holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s in American history from Yale University.
