Ms. Karunaratne leads the Firm’s Leadership and Talent Consulting public sector team with a focus on bringing talent management solutions to corporations and U.S. government agencies. As a trusted advisor, she enables clients to leverage human capital by improving levels of engagement one leader, one manager, and one employee at a time. Ms. Karunaratne currently provides client management and strategic consulting on several federal government engagements, including projects for a number of U.S. intelligence agencies. Ms. Karunaratne’s goal is to leverage the Firm’s over forty years of private sector experience to facilitate dialogue between Fortune 500 leaders and federal government leaders on best practices in talent management. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Karunaratne was a senior partner and practice leader with the Gallup Organization, where she provided client management and strategic consulting for the Department of Defense and for a vast number of other federal government agencies, both civilian and intelligence. During her tenure with Gallup, she participated in and facilitated numerous panels and conferences on employee engagement in the federal government. Ms. Karunaratne earned her master’s degree in business administration from American University in Washington, D.C., where she also has served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Public Administration.
