Eduardo Taylor Regional Market Leader, Latin America, Industrial Office Managing Director Mexico City
With more than two decades of experience in sales, procurement, business development, executive recruitment and management assessment for top executives in Mexico, United States, Europe and Latin America, Mr. Taylor brings a wealth of expertise to his clients. He handles senior executive search assignments in the industrial, consumer products, board members and executive management assessment practice areas, with an emphasis on U.S. corporations, Mexican conglomerates and foreign multinationals. Additionally, Mr. Taylor developed and now leads the Firm’s Leadership Development Solutions offering for Monterrey.
For the last two years, Mr. Taylor has served on the President´s Council, which is named by the President of Korn/Ferry International for the Americas. For five years, he was a member of the Firm’s Global Promotions Committee. Mr. Taylor also managed the Firm’s Monterrey office until June 2006, and then moved to Mexico City, where he was appointed in mid-2007 to lead the Firm’s headquarters in Mexico.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 1997, Mr. Taylor worked for Cajas de Carton Sultana (independent manufacturer of corrugated boxes), Union Carbide (Linde Division), Weyerhauser Paper Company, and Vitro Envases (glass containers), the leading glass manufacturing group in Mexico.
Earlier, he managed his own business, representing U.S. firms in packaging, material handling and plastic resins, such as Perstorp Xytec, Sylvannia Chemical and Weyerhauser.
Mr. Taylor’s last position in Vitro Envases was as director of packaging for Vitro Containers, the result of a merger between Vitro Envases and Anchor Glass Container Corporation, based in Tampa, Florida.
Mr. Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Monterrey Tech (Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey). He has also participated in many seminars and courses in both Mexico and the United States.
