Mr. Steger brings to Korn/Ferry more than a decade’s worth of professional experience in organizational and leadership development, executive recruitment, benchmarking and assessment. He advises international clients on the entire range of their leadership needs.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Steger was the Austrian and Central and Eastern European managing partner for another global search firm.

Previously, he held various management positions with VA TECH, Austria's formerly largest global industrial group. This also included the role of managing director of a Swiss subsidiary of VA TECH. Earlier in his career, Mr. Steger was a lawyer in a public notary's office in Austria and later worked for Bank Austria in London.

Mr. Steger holds a doctorate in law from the University Paris II - Assas and the University of Salzburg. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration from IMD Lausanne.

He is fluent in German, English and French, and speaks Italian.
