Dr. Bochner brings years of sound experience to Korn/Ferry, having served as partner in a specialist executive search firm in the private equity and health care practice. There, he focused on the recruitment of investment professionals and senior operating executives and board members for healthcare companies.

Previously, Dr. Bochner was a global practice leader at two executive search firms, specializing in the healthcare and private equity sectors.

Prior to beginning his executive search career, Dr. Bochner’s business background included serving as a vice president at Fusion Medical (FSON) and as vice president in Robertson Stephens’ Venture Capital Group.

Earlier, he was the founder of Concepts, a consulting firm to early-stage technology companies that provided market research, business planning, financing and executive recruitment services.

As a physician, Dr. Bochner established a private medical practice affiliated with Stanford University. During this time, he served on the clinical faculty at Stanford University Hospital.

Dr. Bochner has served as an investment advisor to venture capital firms and as a consultant to several public and venture-financed private companies. He is a member of numerous medical associations and has served on the board of several companies.

Dr. Bochner obtained his medical degree from the University of Ottawa and McGill University and performed his specialty training at Stanford University, serving as chief resident in 1987.

He holds a master’s in business administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colgate University.
