This global consumer products company needed to maximize its return on investment of an acquisition by providing a customized leadership assessment solution to ensure successful post-merger integration. We created and delivered customized assessments to 200 senior executives simultaneously around the world in three weeks and provided development recommendations for the management team. The assessment process established a blueprint for the client’s internal assessment protocol and helped to build the new organization in a post-acquisition environment.
This nuclear energy client needed a rigorous succession plan and integrated talent management processes in preparation for the retirement of a majority of its workforce. We created new performance management processes to identify future leaders and critical skills gaps, aligned the business and talent management strategies, and recruited critically needed managers. The leadership model is now tied to the business strategy; targeted recruitment goals have been met for key positions, and there is a succession-planning system in place to develop future leaders.
This global beverage company wanted to expand worldwide, requiring new levels of executive capabilities in key leaders. Top priorities included quality improvement and operations transformation. Through enterprise learning workshops and executive coaching, we helped this client transform HR from a transactional service area into a strategic partner providing meaningful feedback from business partners throughout the organization.
This Mexican cement company acquired a sister European organization, creating a global cement conglomerate. A culture study of the acquired company’s executives revealed stark differences in geographic operating styles. Korn/Ferry assessed 450 leaders within a 90-day period; assessments and interviews were performed in multiple languages across 11 European countries. Our adaptable assessments helped the client accurately evaluate the incoming workforce, and revealed gaps in geographic operating styles, enabling informed decision making and workforce planning.
