LOS ANGELES, August 5, 2009 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Jeffrey Wierichs has joined its New York office as a Senior Client Partner and member of the Life Sciences Market.

Mr. Wierichs joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where he served as a Senior Partner in the firm’s Life Sciences/Health Care Practice and specialized in recruiting senior-level executives in general management, supply chain, human resources, and marketing and sales for a broad range of life sciences organizations, from startups to multinational corporations.

Mr. Wierichs has also led prominent, high-profile client search engagements for several other industry-leading life sciences and consumer products companies throughout his career while working with other international executive recruiting firms.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wierichs served as vice president of sales and marketing for Time Warner. He also held divisional and national sales management positions and marketing positions with ConAgra, RJR Nabisco and Procter & Gamble. Mr. Wierichs earned his bachelor's degree in American studies and theology from St. John's University, and serves on the board of trustees of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
