NEW DELHI, November 4, 2009 – Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier provider of talent management solutions, today announced the expansion of its operations in India with the addition of Venkat Shastry as Client Partner and Office Manager based in the Firm’s Bangalore office. Mr. Shastry will be specialising in Korn/Ferry’s Technology and Professional Services practices, focusing on the company’s large client base in the Southern market. As Office Manager, he will provide overall leadership and local support for all other industry vertical practices that the company specializes in.

Mr. Shastry brings with him over a decade of experience in the executive search business, having been a co-founder of Stanton Chase International’s franchise in India. He has conducted over 75 executive search assignments with both global MNCs and Indian business houses with cross vertical expertise including IT, Telecom, Auto, Infrastructure, Consumer Services, Retail, Real Estate, Education and Venture Capital.
