LOS ANGELES, May 24, 2010 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Chris Cantarella has joined the Firm as Senior Client Partner in the Private Equity Center of Excellence and global Technology Market. He will be based out of Korn/Ferry’s Dallas office.

Mr. Cantarella joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where he focused on C-suite searches for public and private equity-backed companies. Mr. Cantarella has also worked extensively on partner and principal level searches for private equity funds. He has led several high profile engagements for companies in technology, aerospace & defense, manufacturing, industrial, alternative energy, business services and transportation.

Mr. Cantarella started his career as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he managed business process re-engineering engagements in technology, industrial, and services arenas.

Previously, he served with the United States Navy as a Radar Intercept Officer flying F-14 Tomcat fighter aircraft. Mr. Cantarella received a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an M.B.A from The George Washington University. He is also a graduate of Harvard University's High Potentials Executive Leadership Program.
