Korn/Ferry Names Kevin A. McNerney as Head of North America Technology Practice
WASHINGTON DC, February 15, 2007 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Kevin A. McNerney has joined the firm as a Senior Client Partner and Regional Market Leader, North America, for the Global Technology Market. He is based in Washington DC.
Mr. McNerney, with more than a decade of experience in executive search, has worked for more than 25 years in technology as a senior executive in broad general management, financial management, international business development, marketing and sales.

Mr. McNerney spent more than 10 years with Heidrick & Struggles, including several years as head of the firm’s global technology practice, and as managing director of the Tysons Corner, Virginia office. Mr. McNerney was involved in several key strategic initiatives in a variety of leadership roles, where he helped Heidrick & Struggles establish its presence in the Northern Virginia information technology market.

Mr. McNerney joins Korn/Ferry from Updata Capital, a small, closely held partnership, where he served as an investment banker focusing primarily on providing consultative advice to boards of directors and management teams for mergers and acquisitions in the software and IT services markets.
Prior to entering executive search, Mr. McNerney worked in Reston, Virginia for Systems Center, the leading provider of network management software for large mainframe-based networks, where he oversaw management of worldwide operations, including sales, customer support and marketing for North America, Europe and Distributor Operations.
