- Tim Nelson Promoted to President of the Asia Pacific Region -

LOS ANGELES, January 24, 2007 -- Futurestep, the outsourced recruiting subsidiary of Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), today announced that it is relocating the office of its Asia Pacific leadership to Singapore, effective April 1, 2007.  In addition, Tim Nelson has been promoted to president of Futurestep Asia Pacific and will move from Melbourne, Australia to oversee the strategic development of the firm’s operations throughout the region from Singapore. 

“Under Tim’s leadership over the past seven years, he has successfully scaled our business in the Asia Pacific region,” said Robert McNabb, chief executive officer of Futurestep.  “He has done a tremendous job executing the company’s overall vision while remaining focused on consistent quality, delivery and strategic expansion.

Nelson first joined the Korn/Ferry family in 1998 as a partner in the executive search Banking and Funds Management sectors. He assumed the role of start-up Managing Director of Futurestep Australia in 1999, and became Regional Managing Director in 2001 for Asia Pacific with responsibility for overseeing the strategy, growth and profitability of Futurestep across nine countries including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan.
