Korn/Ferry International Expands Asia/Pacific Financial Services Team

- Firm Appoints David Hui to Lead Fast-Growing Practice From Hong Kong -

Hong Kong, February 22, 2006 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that it has appointed Mr. David Hui as a Senior Client Partner in its Hong Kong office, where he will serve as the Regional Market Leader, Financial Services, Asia/Pacific. One of three strategic hires to have been made in the past twelve months in response to growing demand – the firm’s business in this sector is up 20 percent annually - David will help the team drive deeper relationships with clients across the region and worldwide, delivering an innovative suite of services tailored to their unique talent acquisition and development needs.

“David’s track record in managing regional accounts combined with his global experience makes him well-suited to lead our Financial Services team into the next phase of growth,” said Charles Tseng, President, Asia/Pacific, Korn/Ferry International.

Mr. Hui joined Korn/Ferry in late 2005 from Whitehead Mann (WHM), where he was Partner and Head of Asia, focused on corporate and investment banking, professional services and “C”-level corporate searches. Born in Hong Kong and educated in the U.K., he holds a joint Hons LLB in Chinese Studies from the University of Leeds, and an LLM from the University of London, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business. David was admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales in 1997.

Strategic Hires Deepen Team’s Broad-Based Expertise in Financial Services

  • Mr. David Greenfield joined the firm as its dedicated insurance specialist to service global clients in Asia as well as domestic Asian insurance companies last March 1st, following an impressive career of HR and retained search experience in the U.K. and the Far East that focused almost exclusively on the insurance sector. Since he joined the firm, revenues generated from clients in the insurance sector have increased by over 200 percent.
  • Ms. Ivy Ng joined this month as a Client Partner to focus on corporate and investment banking clients across Asia/Pacific, leveraging the related experience she has in this arena from past assignments at Whitehead Mann and Stephens International. As a former Investment Banker, she brings genuine industry experience in a increasingly sophisticated and growing market. Born in Hong Kong and educated in the UK, Ms. Ng is graduate of the University of Cambridge, she is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
