Korn/Ferry International Places COO of Lloyd's Reinsurance Company (China) LTD
- Firm’s Insurance Practice Has Grown by Over 200 Percent in Past Year -
March 15, 2006 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that it has successfully completed the search for the Chief Operating Officer of Lloyd’s, the world’s leading insurance market specialist, new Chinese onshore reinsurance operation in Shanghai, Lloyd’s Reinsurance Company (China) Ltd. This new company will give Chinese insurers access to the Lloyd’s network, enabling its underwriters to support the development of the local market and the Chinese economy. Mr. Ian Faragher will assume the role in mid-May, subject to approval from the appropriate regulatory authorities. This is one of several significant placements that Korn/Ferry’s dedicated Asian insurance practice has made in the past 12 months, during which revenues generated from clients in the insurance sector have increased by over 200 percent.
