Michael Franzino Joins Korn/Ferry International as Global Markets Managing Director

LOS ANGELES, September 24, 2007 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Michael Franzino has joined the firm as Global Markets Managing Director, based in New York. Reporting to Chief Executive Officer Gary Burnison, he has additionally been named to the firm’s Global Operating Committee.
Mr. Franzino will assist in advancing the firm’s go-to-market strategy as well as driving global accounts across all industries. In addition, he will be a catalyst for growth in the firm’s Global Financial Markets.
Mr. Franzino joins Korn/Ferry from Heidrick & Struggles, where he served as Chairman, Global Markets. He has 20 years of experience in executive recruitment and has successfully completed senior-level search assignments for a wide range of clients in financial services. During his tenure at Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Franzino was responsible for leading the Global Financial Services Practice, as well as overseeing all of the industry and functional practices. He was also the architect of the firm’s go-to-market strategy for major clients.

Mr. Franzino is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he received a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering. After graduation, Mr. Franzino served five years as an Infantry Officer with the United States Army, First Infantry Division.
