- President of IBM Canada Joins Leading Provider of BPO Services for the Financial Services Industry -

MISSISSAUGA, ON, January 4, 2005 - Symcor Inc., a leading North American provider of check processing, payment processing, statement production and document management services, has chosen Ed Kilroy as Chief Executive Officer, as announced today by Fred Tomczyk, Symcor's Chairman of the Board and Vice Chairman Corporate Operations, TD Bank Financial Services.  Kilroy was selected after Symcor engaged executive search firm Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY) to coordinate the extensive search process.

Mr. Kilroy, whose start date is January 10, 2005, will lead Symcor's continued strategy to combine efficient conventional transaction outsourcing with new technology to help transform and enhance their customers' businesses.  He most recently served as President of IBM Canada Ltd., a position he assumed in 2001, where he was responsible for delivering information technology solutions to the Canadian marketplace.

Mr. Kilroy joined IBM in 1982 and held a number of senior executive positions in sales, marketing and general management in Canada, the United States and Australia, including Director of Marketing for the IBM Personal Computer Company and Vice President and General Manager of IBM Global Services, Canada; General Manager and CEO of IBM Global Services, Australia/New Zealand; and, General Manager of Electronic Commerce in IBM's Software Solutions Division, United States.

He graduated in 1981 from Yale University with a Bachelor degree in Administrative Sciences.
