Korn/Ferry Names Lorraine Lavet New Managing Director of Tysons Corner Office
Tysons Corner, VA, January 28, 2005 – Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, announced today that Lorraine Lavet has been named Office Managing Director of the Tysons Corner, Virginia office. Korn/Ferry’s Northern Virginia office specializes in advanced technology, government contracting, defense/aerospace and health care.
Ms. Lavet, who joined Korn/Ferry in January 2004, specializes in the recruitment of senior-level executives for trade associations, federal and state governments and technology companies. She will continue to serve clients in addition to her new role, and also continue to lead the firm’s National Trade Association Practice.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Lavet spent nearly 20 years in association leadership positions, most recently as the Executive Vice President and COO of the American Electronics Association, the nation’s largest high tech trade organization. Earlier, Ms. Lavet was President and CEO of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, one of the nation’s largest metropolitan Chambers. Ms. Lavet also served in a number of key roles at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business lobby, including Director, Domestic Policy and Director, Procurement Policy.
Ms. Lavet received a Bachelors of Business Administration in finance and investments and an MBA focused in procurement and contracting from George Washington University.
