Korn/Ferry Adds New Senior Client Partner to Firm's Global Consumer Markets Team in Melbourne

SINGAPORE, February 17, 2005 - Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, announced today that Kate Wright has joined its Global Consumer Markets team as a Senior Client Partner based in the Melbourne office. Ms. Wright will specialize in senior-level assignments in the Consumer sector. This appointment is reflective of the growing demand for Korn/Ferry’s multi-product human capital solutions in Australasia, where business continues to grow significantly.
Ms. Wright joins Korn/Ferry following a twenty-year career with Philip Morris Ltd (PML), where she was recognised as a leader across all areas of the business, with a proven track record in leadership, people development and teamwork. In the three years subsequent to her appointment as Managing Director in 2001, Kate achieved significant growth in profitability, while implementing organizational reforms resulting in continuous cost reduction. A graduate of the University of New South Wales, she also completed the Global Management Program at the American Graduate School of International Management (Phoenix, Arizona) in 1994 and the International Executive Program at Harvard Business School in 2001. Ms. Wright was named the 2001 winner of the Victorian Telstra Business Women’s Award (Private and Corporate Sector) and received a Centenary Medal for service to Australian society in business leadership in 2003.
