Former Dean of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Joins Korn/Ferry


- Addition of Glenn Davis Expands Search Practice for Medical Schools and Hospitals -

Philadelphia, PA, August 11, 2005 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Glenn Davis, M.D., has joined the firm as a Senior Client Partner in the Healthcare Services and Academic Health Center Practices, the only search practice in the country led by two former medical school deans.  Dr. Davis is the second member of the growing practice retained by prominent medical schools and university hospitals, led by Dr. Warren Ross, Senior Client Partner and the former Annenberg Dean at the Drexel University College of Medicine.  Dr. Davis will be based in Korn/Ferry’s Philadelphia office.

Dr. Davis is a nationally recognized physician executive who was the Dean of the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University from 2001-2005. From 1993 to 2001, he served as Vice President of Academic Affairs and for three years (1994-1996) concurrently served as Chief Medical Officer for the Henry Ford Health System’s six suburban regions comprising over 35 large and small clinics. Previously he served as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Vice President for Behavioral Services at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit (through 1992). Dr. Davis also served as Chief of Staff of the Cleveland Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cleveland and Associate Dean for Veterans Affairs at Case Western Reserve University (1984-1987).

Dr. Davis is board certified in psychiatry, a distinguished fellow of the APA, fellow of the APPA, member of ACP, and an emeritus director of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (president in 2000).  He is also an emeritus director of the American Board of Family Practice, a past member of the American Board of Medical Specialties and a past director of the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Centers (President 2000-2001). Dr. Davis is nationally recognized for his research in endorphins and posttraumatic stress disorder.

A graduate of Reed College and Duke University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed a medical internship and psychiatry residency at Duke University Medical Center.
