Houston, TX, March 31, 2005 – Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY) and Futurestep, its middle management recruitment subsidiary, announced today that Brett J. Gerard has been appointed Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Business Leader for the firm’s North America region. Based in Houston, Mr. Gerard will lead and develop Futurestep’s recruitment outsourcing business across the U.S. and Canada, as well as oversee client relations and execution in this sector.

”RPO is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing and most strategic segments in the HR outsourcing market,” said James Zagelmeyer, Managing Director of Futurestep’s North America region. “Brett epitomizes the type of leadership our firm needs to grow our RPO offering, and his vision will enable Futurestep to better fulfill the total recruitment needs of our clients.”

Mr. Gerard joins Futurestep from Hewitt Associates, an HR outsourcing and consulting firm, which he joined in 2000. As a Managing Consultant, he led business development in the Southwest, and built and maintained client sourcing relationships at the senior-level.  Mr. Gerard was named Hewitt’s top sales person in fiscal year 2002 and won the company’s Client Development Leadership Awards in 2002 and 2004 for leading the firm in revenue growth.  Prior to his work at Hewitt, Mr. Gerard was a sales manager at Aetna Inc. and received Sales Management Awards in 1998 and 1999. 
 
A Fairfax, Virginia native, Mr. Gerard earned his BA in government and politics from George Mason University.
