LOS ANGELES, November 14, 2007 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Nels Olson, age 40, has been named Managing Director, Eastern Region, effective immediately. Mr. Olson will also assume the role of Office Managing Director of the firm’s New York office as well as continuing to lead the Washington, D.C. office. He replaces Charles W.B. Wardell III, age 60, who served as Managing Director of the Northeast Region for six years and who is re-entering the marketplace as a Senior Client Partner based in the firm’s Stamford office.

Mr. Olson, who joined Korn/Ferry in 1993, has also been named as a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee. He will continue to serve as a key member of the Board and CEO practice as well as continuing his work with both the firm’s External Affairs practice.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Olson was with the public relations firm Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, he was on the staff of the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel, where he was responsible for the political clearance for all Presidential appointees. Mr. Olson holds a BA in political science from the State University of New York and and his MBA from The George Washington University.
