NEW YORK, September 9, 2008 -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE:KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that Michael P. Castine has joined the firm’s New York office. Mr. Castine will work in the CEO and Board Services Practice and serve as Chairman, Asset and Wealth Management Sector.
Mr. Castine was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of the Sugar Hill Companies, LLC, which included a private investment office and a consulting firm. Previously, he served as the President of Dover Management LLC, a registered investment adviser based in Greenwich, Connecticut. At Dover, he oversaw the day-to-day operations of two mutual funds and a Bermuda-based alternative investment fund.
Mr. Castine joins Korn/Ferry with more than 16 years of experience recruiting CEOs and senior talent in a variety of global industries. From 1999 to 2003, he served as the Global Sector Head in the executive search division of TMP Worldwide (Monster Worldwide). In this role, he had responsibility for the Financial Services, Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Industrial, Technology, Board Services and Nonprofit practices on an international level.
Prior to 1999, Mr. Castine was a Partner and an architect of the Investment Management Practice of the Highland Search Group, LLC, an executive recruiting firm, which he and his partners sold to TMP Worldwide in 1999. Previously, Mr. Castine spent 10 years at Spencer Stuart where he built the Investment Management Practice and co-headed the Global Financial Services Practice, including investment management, investment banking, insurance, real estate, private banking and private equity.

Mr. Castine served on the staff of the National Security Council as the Director of International Communication and Information and as a Deputy Director of the Office of Private Sector Initiatives in the White House under President Ronald Reagan. He also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as an aide to Congressman Jack Kemp.
Mr. Castine is an independent director of Prospect Acquisition Corp. (AMEX: PAX) and Beeing LLC. He serves on the Advisory Board of Praxis Energy Resource Partners and also serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including Brunswick School, The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation, the Leadership Council of Communities in Schools and the Connecticut Chapter of the Knights of Malta.
Mr. Castine has a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Fredonia College. He also holds FINRA securities licenses.
