Since joining Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann, Mr. Newton has worked on the assessment and development of more than 2,000 executives across 19 countries and four continents.
Mr. Newton joined the Firm from PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consultants, where he was global head of human capital. In this role he was responsible for the recruitment, development, deployment and reward of 32,000 partners and staff in 53 countries.
Prior to this, Mr. Newton had the leading HR role in the largest professional services merger between Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse, affecting 164,000 staff in 152 countries. His major projects included the worldwide design and roll-out of a values program and Peoplesoft.
During this period, Universum rated PwC amongst the top five Employers of Choice in PwC’s ten largest countries.
A 20-year veteran of Price Waterhouse Mr. Newton's background is in management consultancy, where he led more than 70 consulting assignments in change management, management development, assessment and reward.
In 2001 Mr. Newton was listed by HR Forum as one of the top 50 HR leaders in the world. In 2002 Personnel Today listed him as one of the 40 most influential leaders in UK HR.
Mr. Newton holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wales and a master’s degree from London University.
