For close to a decade, Ms. Song has successfully conducted senior-level executive search projects, focusing on the industrial, energy, consumer and life sciences sectors.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry in 2000, she worked as a senior consultant for another international executive search firm, working in the pharmaceutical, professional services, energy, and consumer industries.
Before this, she was based in the United States for eight years, where she was a senior research associate for the Medical College of the University of Cincinnati and the Medical Center of the University of Kansas.
A biochemist by training, Ms. Song has completed eight years of extended scientific research in cell biology and physiology.
Ms. Song obtained her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Beijing Normal University and pursued graduate studies at the Medical College of the University of Cincinnati. She also studied accounting and business administration at the University of Kansas, School of Business. Immediately before joining Korn/Ferry, Ms. Song completed a year of advanced study at Stanford University.
