A leader who develops leaders, multiplies.” Mr. Janicik has worked with Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries including financial services, media and entertainment, retail, and pharmaceuticals. Before joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Janicik was a change management consultant at Mercer Delta Consulting. He specialized in leadership assessment and development, senior team alignment, M&A integration, and organization design. Earlier in his career, he was a full-time faculty member of the New York University (NYU) Stern School of Business. While at NYU, Mr. Janicik consulted to CEOs and senior teams of small and midsize companies experiencing fast-paced growth. Mr. Janicik has also conducted research on team dynamics, and has written and lectured on topics such as negotiation, decision-making, and motivation in team contexts. Mr. Janicik currently teaches as an adjunct professor of management at the Stern School of Business. Prior to his academic career, Mr. Janicik held various roles in marketing and product management at Westinghouse Electric Corporation and Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc. (HMSA). He was a member of the initial team at HMSA that established Hitachi’s open MRI system in the United States. Mr. Janicik received his doctorate in managerial and organizational behavior and a master’s of business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University. |
