With more than a decade of experience in executive search, Mr. DeCosta focuses on recruiting senior-level executives for management and IT consulting, accounting and law firms.
Prior to joining the Firm in 2000, Mr. DeCosta served as senior recruiting manager for Deloitte & Touche, where he helped launch a highly successful senior-level recruiting group focused on attracting partners and directors into the firm’s global leadership team.
Mr. DeCosta recruited across several industry practices within Deloitte’s management consulting unit, including healthcare, financial services, energy and public sector (which he led for all of North America) and its technology specialty practices. Additionally, he served as a member of its North American e-business recruiting task force.
Mr. DeCosta’s earlier background was in the emergency medical services industry, where he served as director of marketing for one of the largest ambulance service providers in the United States.
Presently, he authors a career column for a legal industry newsletter, Marketing The Law Firm, and serves on its Board of Editors. Mr. DeCosta has written and contributed to numerous white papers on professional services and legal career management. In addition, he has spoken on panels at a variety of industry conferences.
Mr. DeCosta has served on several community boards, including the local Tax District and Charter Revision Commission.
Mr. DeCosta is completing his master’s degree at Fairfield University and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Marist College.
