Morten Nielsen Senior Client Partner Life Sciences Princeton
Specializing in the life sciences arena, Mr. Nielsen helps clients recruit and develop their top executive teams. He uses his strong international background to assist clients with global talent needs. Mr. Nielsen has placed multiple U.S. heads for non-U.S. based companies and also manages global searches for U.S.-based clients. He has conducted senior searches across all functions for Fortune 500 companies, as well as early stage, venture-backed companies, and has developed a strong expertise in recruiting chief medical officers. Additionally, Mr. Nielsen has deep experience in recruiting other senior medical and clinical positions in the medical device & diagnostics and pharmaceutical sectors.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Nielsen was a senior executive in the life sciences industry and possesses two decades of domestic and international management experience in both pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Immediately before joining the Firm, he was group president & corporate vice president at STERIS Corporation, and before that, Mr. Nielsen was European vice president at Boston Scientific Corporation in Paris, France.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Nielsen held various sales, marketing, and management positions at Wyeth, Baxter, Aventis, and Pfizer. His career has given him deep insight into a broad array of therapeutic and diagnostic areas, including cardiovascular, neurology, immunology, CNS, endoscopy, urology, and oncology.
Mr. Nielsen holds a Danish equivalent to a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen and a Danish equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the Copenhagen School of Commerce.
