Mr. Olson is a leader in placing senior-level professionals skilled in Government/ Regulatory Affairs, as well as International and Public Affairs at leading corporations, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. In the government affairs arena, he has completed successful searches for a wide range of leading companies and associations for their top legislative affairs representatives. His corporate communications experience focuses on senior-level assignments in the fields of public relations, media relations, crisis communications, investor relations, speechwriting, advertising, employee communications and shareholder services. 

Mr. Olson has conducted numerous executive search assignments throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America across multiple industries, including financial services, advanced technology, utilities, energy, healthcare, professional services, retail, and consumer goods. His problem-solving approach and commitment to quality and service are recognized assets in the industry, evidenced by the substantial repeat business he is given by his clients.

Mr. Olson joined Korn/Ferry in 1993 after a successful career in public relations and government service.  Prior to joining the firm,  he was with the public relations firm Fleishman-Hillard, Inc.  Preceding this, Mr. Olson served on the staff of the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel.  In this capacity, he identified and recommended candidates for senior political positions in cabinet agencies and was responsible for the political clearance for all Presidential appointees.

Mr. Olson sits on the boards of the Wolf Trap Foundation of the Performing Arts, the Federal City Council and The Bryce Harlow Foundation.

Mr. Olson earned his master’s of business administration from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York.
