As a veteran of executive search, Ms. Park has specialized in placing financial executives at Fortune 1000 companies for almost two decades. She has developed a deep focus and expertise in the finance arena.
After the passing of Sarbanes Oxley, Ms. Park emerged as a preeminent leader in internal audit and compliance.
Before joining Korn/Ferry in 2003, Ms. Park built an executive search line of business for a large staffing company. As vice president of executive search, she played a pivotal role in business development, securing retained searches for senior-level executives in finance, internal audit, accounting and tax.
Prior to this role, Ms. Park was vice president of operations for an e-services recruiting firm that specialized in providing on-site recruiting services for venture backed companies, and executive managing director for a boutique search firm that specialized in placing senior-level finance and accounting professionals. Earlier in her career, Ms. Park worked as an internal auditor for a major U.S. hotel chain.
Ms. Park is regularly cited in the media and has been asked to present to such prestigious industry groups as Financial Executives International, The Institute of Internal Auditors, and treasury and risk conferences. She has co-authored and published several studies and whitepapers on key talent trends in the finance profession.
Ms. Park earned her bachelor’s in economics and a minor in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California at Berkeley.
