With more than two decades of experience in executive search, Mr. Preng’s expertise is focused on a broad spectrum within the energy sector including E&P, oilfield service and utility companies. He has successfully assisted large energy and oil companies at the senior management and board levels.
Mr. Preng has also worked with a variety of private equity-backed and merchant energy organizations.
Before joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Preng was with the Houston office of another international executive search firm, where he led the Global Energy practice.
Prior to beginning his executive search career, he was an upstream supervisor with Exxon Company and an accounting manager and marine operations manager with Western Geophysical Company.
Mr. Preng has a master’s in business administration from the University of Houston as well as undergraduate degrees in economics and history from Rice University.
